Creepier than waking up next to the Burger King

I don't know about you. Yes, I love Donnie Darko, but I don't think I could handle having a wall decal of the rabbit on my wall. Etsy has this giant silhouette of Frank for a low low price.
Donnie Darko DVD $19.99
Frank the rabbit wall decal $35
Waking up from a Frank nightmare just in time to dodge a jet engine falling through your ceiling: priceless

New Music Tuesday

This week, I really can only suggest one album. It's rare that I like the majority of one album. The Airborne Toxic Event hail from Los Feliz, California and their myspace page says they'll be in Dallas performing at the House of Blues on Sept 28th. *Note, if you can't see the player, just click the Pop Out Player option.

In Search of a Midnight Kiss

Cinematical posted this poster of a movie that I have been waiting to see ever since its Tribeca buzz last year. Just the poster alone makes me anxiously tingle to see it. Check out the trailer below:

Guess Who's Back? Well, technically...

Josh and the beloved Adventure Club are coming back to the Dallas airwaves this Sunday from 8-10. I grew up listening to that show and when the Edge did away with him, I, as most of my friends, were crushed, roaming the local stations, lost, not knowing where to turn. I mean, of course I just put in a CD, but when Josh left, the last good thing about Dallas alternative radio went with him.

To read a transcript of his interview with Zac Crain check out the Front Burner.

No...wait, really? There was a real Ron Burgundy?

This story on Gawker made me feel bad for giggling just a little. Apparently there was a real life anchorman with the ego the size of his well tuffted hair. His name was Ron Hunter. Read about him here. And please make sure you read the last paragraph.

Jay-Z covers Wonderwall

Perez has a video of Jay-Z's Glastonbury performance. I love the fact that he started out the performance with an Oasisi cover. He was just biting his thumb to all of those snobs out there that didn't think a rapper belonged at the festival. The audience didn't seem to mind the pretty horrible vocals, either.

On the Cheap: Jonathan Saunders

This Jonathan Saunders dress even on sale is still a few week's salary to some of us girls ($1144.50). However, Forever21 has a version worth a couple hours' worth of salary or less $22.80:
